2008 Teen Challenge
This year on May 19th, Provoto was proud to sponsor and participate in the Teen Challenge Golf Tournament in Cincinnati, Ohio. For the second year in a row, we were able to provide our line of Approach Bags as a gift for every participant of the tournament. Click Here For More Pictures.
Teen Challenge is one of the oldest, largest and most successful programs of its kind in the world. Established in 1958 by David Wilkerson, Teen Challenge has grown to more than 170 centers in the United States. If you would like to know the story of how Teen Challenge started as told in the book "The Cross and the Switchblade,".
According to the 2002 National Survey on Drug Use, an estimated 7.7 million individuals age 12 or older were in need of care for an illicit drug problem. Furthermore, an estimated 18.6 million persons age 12 or older were in need of assistance for an alcohol problem. Teen Challenge has responded with action to statistics like these. Providing residential and non-residential care for thousands of men and women seeking freedom from life-controlling problems, Teen Challenge has become their answer.
In the process of breaking down the addiction cycle, Teen Challenge has become a solution to the addiction crisis. Teen Challenge is known throughout the world for providing successful recovery programs. Enthusiastic law enforcement officials, judges, mayors, governors and other prominent community and country leaders advocate the mission of Teen Challenge. This year Provoto participated in a Cancer Awareness Event hosted by Rocky Ridge Country Club. The funds from this event are donated to the research and development of life saving ways to defeat cancer. Provoto has donated voucher cards to every member of the golf tournament. Each purchase made using the voucher code will receive 30% off of the purchase as a way of saying thank you for particpating in this cause.In addition, 10% of every purchase made with the discount voucher (shipping not included) will be donated back to the tournament coordinator to give back to the cancer and research facility.

Army Medical Center. This was a very special event hosted by the Walter Reed Army Medical Center that the staff a Provoto was very proud to be apart of. Every year the Center hosts this golf tournament to collect funds to help support our brave soldiers that were injured in the line of duty.
